Midian (in Moav)

An area of land within Moav wherein the Midianites lived. Hadad son of Bedad fought against and bested Midian. The elders of Midian went with the elders of Moav to summon Bilam. The daughters of Midian enticed Bnei Yisrael to sin at Shittim, and subsequently Bnei Yisrael fought and defeated the Midianites.
