Afek (Sharon)

Afek is a city in the Sharon region, beside the springs of the Yarkon that are next to Rosh Ha-Ayin.

Currently identified with Tel Afek, also known as Antipatris (A. Alt).

Afek was situated at the border between Yisrael and the Pelishtim (I Samuel 4, 1; I Samuel 29, 1).
